The bathroom was amazing! It had a lovely shower and they even provided free toiletries. Made me feel like a VIP!
I personally found only one bathroom a bit inconvenient. But hey, others might think it's cozy!

Excellent location, with easy access to town for great restaurants and pubs. the house was well equipped and immaculately clean, providing a comfy and cosy stay. Communication with owners was excellent, making us feel welcome. Having parking available outside the property was a bonus.
Some minor issues such as a lack of teaspoons and spatula, and a colder downstairs toilet. the shower pressure was not great for warm showers and there was no bath mat provided.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Daffodil House in Cockermouth and it was an absolute delight. The house was tastefully decorated and provided a comfortable environment for our group during our 5-night stay. The addition of a guest WC was a game-changer, making our stay even more convenient. Parking on the street was a breeze, eliminating any parking worries. The house truly felt like a home away from home.
Although our stay was fantastic overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The water pressure in the shower was not the best for warm showers, which slightly affected our shower experience.

Garden: I felt like a modern-day Alice exploring the enchanting garden at Daffodil House. It was a hidden wonderland where flowers danced gracefully in the breeze and birds serenaded me with their melodious tunes. It was the perfect spot to bask in nature's embrace and forget about the worries of the world.
Water pressure: Underwhelming showers, but still manageable.

Our 5-night stay at Daffodil House was absolutely fantastic. The house was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, providing all the comforts we needed for our family break. The guest WC was a great addition, and parking on the street was easy. The excellent Wi-Fi and streaming apps on the TV made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the thoughtful provision of coffee, tea, and sugar, saving us the trouble of bringing our own. The location was perfect, with a lovely short walk into town where we found charming cafes and eateries.

The decor of the house was absolutely lovely, with charming touches that made me feel right at home. The common areas were comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing and spending time with my family. I also appreciated the ease of accessibility throughout the hotel, as it was well-suited for senior guests like myself.
I would have loved to see the children working there provide a bath mat in the bathroom. It would have made showering much safer and more comfortable for us senior folks.
